Aïman works as a NetSuite Consultant at Dynappco. Is he happy with his role?

Let’s get straight to the point: what’s it like working at Dynappco?

I didn’t know Dynappco to begin with, so I’m really happy I discovered them a couple of months ago. I used to work at Exact Online, but wanted to go in a new direction and was looking for a consultancy role close to where I live. Google led me to Cronos and Dynappco.

Did you apply anywhere else?

Yes, it’s important to have a good look around. I’m happy I chose Dynappco, though – it’s a great, large company with good people. I got a good feeling straight away during my application process, which I think is important.

What’s good about it?

It all feels quite informal, which I really like. I nearly always work alongside colleagues in the office, and it’s great to be with people during your working day. I didn’t always have that with my former employer, so it wasn’t really a good working atmosphere. It’s much better now.

Do other people feel the same way?

Yes, I think so. I get on well with everyone here, and it’s a very supportive vibe – we all help each other out. Whenever I need to ask a question, I always get an answer in my inbox the same day or sometimes even within the hour.

What about your onboarding: did you follow a formal process?

Yes, you’re given great guidance right from the start. Dynappco is a NetSuite specialist, and they organize on-site training here. The initial training period lasts for more than a week, and they give you intensive support with expert sessions for the software delivery. So you get plenty of help and supervision, but of course you have to do a lot yourself as well. It’s all worked out really well for me, partly thanks to my previous experience.

What do you think about NetSuite?

I think it’s a really strong ERP system. It’s been developed to be extremely stable with very broad possibilities, so SMEs and large organizations alike can definitely benefit from it. It also has the advantage that there’s not much competition on the market – as cloud software, NetSuite has a really good head start.

How else is NetSuite strong?

You can implement it quickly and it’s been really well built, too.

What do you want to achieve for yourself?

I want to gain as much knowledge as I can this year and next, also learning from the rest of the team’s expertise. It would be great to grow into a senior consultant role within the group eventually.

Have you gained any certificates already?

Yes, it’s been quite tough but I’m getting there. I still have one more exam to retake, because they don’t just hand the certificates out as gifts. But I’m going to do it as soon as I can, because the aim is to try and get the certificates as quickly as possible.

Why should other people come and work at Dynappco?

As well as giving their employees some great benefits, all the companies in the Cronos Group provide fantastic support. My experience at Dynappco is that the company offers really good career development and job security. It’s a friendly and helpful environment, and NetSuite is definitely a strong product. I only see positives, and I’m sure that’s an accurate reflection.
